Level
one accreditation
To maintain
their Level one accreditation umpires must be classified as “Active”
i.e. All umpires must umpire a
minimum of 3 games.
Note the distinction
between Player / umpires & umpires has been
removed.
The completed Record Cards
must be returned to the Level one Record Administrator
Colin Cameron at the address shown on the Level One
Record Card for logging details.

Recording
games
Club umpires (Level one) must
complete their Level one Record card & ensure
that the team captains sign the card.
Association appointed umpires
all levels (1 – 3) do not need to complete the Record Card as records
are kept by the appointing Association.

Transfer
to the “Inactive” list
The umpire
not umpiring the required number of games & submitting their
Level one Record Card to the Association will be deemed to be
“Inactive” and transferred from
the “Active category to the “Inactive” category of
the England Hockey Database.

Transfer
to the “Active” list
To return /
restore their “Active” status umpires must contact their Umpiring Association who will depending on status: -
Reinstate the umpire to the
“Active” list
Reinstate the umpire to the
“Active” list after an arranged appropriate
assessment game and issue / confirm the umpire has a copy of the
latest Rules
of Hockey & Rule interpretation.

Membership
of the Association
The umpire
would be expected to join the Umpiring Association to contribute to the
administering of the Level one Record Card Process, ensure they are
insured and receive the latest Rules of Hockey & Rule interpretation.
